Composite Materials and Tube

AAVF produces laminated tubes and rods from an extensive range of composite materials. These can be manufactured in a broad range of sizes to meet individual needs, using our extensive collection of mandrels and specialist rolling machines.

In addition to manufacturing composite tubes for resale, we specialise in producing machined components from them for a variety of applications.

As well as conventional round tube, we produce square and rectangular. Laminated rod, angle and channel sections are also available.

Applications include antennae, marine bearings, welding nozzles, super-precision phenolic bearing cages, textile bobbins, automotive wear-rings and electrical insulation products.
